Our Story

We are friends, that have become family, and are now business partners!

Bill comes to us from California originally. He moved to Minnesota to be near family many years ago. Doug and I met him then. Over the years we’ve become close friends and have had a lot of fun together, as well as some very entertaining adventures!

Doug and Jen are both native Minnesotans that met, and married, many years ago in St. Cloud. We took a run at a life in Chicago for a few years but headed back to our home state, and our families, before too long.

Westaway’s Getaways began with a dream of Bill’s that, like many of his ideas, Doug and I jumped into with him wholeheartedly. Bill’s love of music festivals and our love of camping brought us together on this idea within the RV rental industry that we can do it better.

We’re hoping that the attention to detail and the stress-free experience will enhance your adventure. Whether it be a music festival, a family vacation, or a weekend road trip, let us help you create memories.

We want to make the process of renting an RV as simple as possible. Planning a vacation or recreational event should create excitement and anticipation, not stress and inconvenience. Whether it be here on our website or speaking with us directly, our goal is to eliminate any doubt that you are making a good decision in renting from Westaway’s Getaways. Our pricing is transparent, so there are no unexpected fees. Even if we prepare you a custom quote for a longer rental, all fees will be set in advance.
